Chests of drawers and bedside tables – classic quality furniture with a new character
In our category of chests of drawers and bedside tables you will find carefully selected older pieces that have undergone a gentle and creative transformation. At Plan B Design we give these pieces a new look and a new expression – with no compromise on craftsmanship, quality or soul. Here you will find storage furniture that can do more than simply hold things: pieces that elevate a room, awaken curiosity and last for generations.
Every piece is an original – refined to suit today’s living spaces, ways of life and needs.
Timeless function with a personal touch
Whether you are looking for a chest of drawers with character for the hallway, a bedside table that makes the detail of the room, or a small piece of storage furniture for the reading corner, this category offers one-of-a-kind pieces in which practical function meets bold form.
Newly lacquered finishes in carefully chosen colour ranges – from muted and elegant to boldly expressive
Preserved details and beautifully aged wood – combined with modern choices of material
Repainted, repaired and renewed with a focus on finish and durability
Practical drawers and sturdy construction – ideal for storage and aesthetics at once
These are pieces that do not merely serve a function – they tell a story and set the tone in the room.
Second-hand furniture, redesigned with respect
At Plan B Design we believe in the value of older furniture. That is why we refine every chest of drawers and bedside table with craftsmanlike care and a feel for design, instead of producing new. By restoring, reusing and reinterpreting, we create furniture that is as much a talking point as an everyday object.
Sustainable design with an ecological outlook
Furniture that breathes history and yet feels contemporary
Unique forms of expression that mass production does not offer
Every piece is carefully restored and often redesigned to suit modern living spaces – always with respect for the charm and strength of the original.
For a home that mixes new and old
The chests of drawers and bedside tables in this category suit the modern city flat just as well as the Gründerzeit villa or the summer house with soul. Many of the pieces are excellent as:
A console table in the hallway or kitchen
A bedside table with storage and character
A small chest of drawers for the living room or study
Stylish storage in the dressing room
With their personal character and clear lines, these pieces are easy to place – yet never look anonymous.
A range that changes – and still always keeps its style
As every piece is one of a kind, the range changes continually. Here you will find both classic forms with a modern touch and more expressive pieces that dare to take up space. Some pieces come as a pair – ideal as bedside tables – while others stand alone, with presence and personality.
We keep adding new favourites to the category – all with the same high standard of feel, quality and finish.
Plan B Design – for everyone who is looking for something out of the ordinary. In our chests of drawers and bedside tables you will find history, craftsmanship and creativity – carefully reused and gently renewed to fit a home with soul.
The practical meets the poetic – every piece of furniture gets a Plan B.
